How to Apply
Admissions:
- Complete the Pope John XXIII Admission Application — March 6, 2026
- Submit a Copy of School Transcripts — March 6, 2026
- Report cards for previous two grade levels & current grade level
- Standardized achievement or aptitude testing scores
- Student attendance records for previous two grade levels & current grade level
- Student disciplinary records for previous two grade levels & current grade level
- Schedule Your Interview
- Most applicants complete the interview during the Lion For A Day visit - RSVP here
- If you prefer to schedule the interview on an alternate date, please email lindaartigliere@popejohn.org
- The interview must be completed within one week of receiving transcripts.
- Placement Testing
- The placement exam will be administered in late Spring to determine a student's course placement. Admission decisions are made prior to the exam date.
Physical Exam Requirements
Your healthcare provider must review the letter from our school nurse prior to the physical exam

- Health History Update Form - This form is only required when the physical exam is completed more than 90 days prior to the first day of official practice. A new update form is required for each season. If your student plays multiple sports in one season, list the sports played on one form
